Can't use other LAN computer folder for msg store
I logged in with Admn. privledges, but the entire drive was not listed in the selection window for backup (only shared folders were listed). Any suggestions here would be appreciated. I still haven't figured out how to share an entire drive or can you if it has the OS on it? Mike.

Vista keeps losing network
I could not find this entry. I searched for it with no success. So those files didn't get deleted. Can you give me better idea of where to look? Inside w32x86, there may be folders with the names 2 and 3 delete all of the files and sub-folders in each of the 2 and 3 folders, but not the folders themselves.

I want the person sitting at the win98 machine to be able to: -double-click Network Neighborhood -double-click the win2000 computer there -double-click a shared drive on the win2000 machine -receive a password prompt, and ... -gain access only if the correct password is entered. Backup before upgrade to XP?
I have tried everyway I can think of to do this but for some reason I cannot get the desktop to reconize the shared folders on the laptop and vice versa. I tried using the network setup wizard and the wireless wizard using the thumb drive to copy the settings between the computers but still nothing.

My version does not have the Backup Wizard in the Tools folder. I don't have a CD burner, only a CD-ROM and a floppy drive. You need to map the network share as some drive name. Then you can save it from the network. The share need not be the correct folder where you want to save, it can be any upstream parent I have a third-party book on Linux, but I can't find any instructions for the syntax to change permissions on the share.
